A few things to know.

Who receives my membership payment?

Paid membership is purchased from SWC through Stripe. ChatGPT sign-in does not purchase or activate an SWC paid package.

Is the private research desk public?

No. Signing up grants only the Free package. Private conversations, unpublished research and administrative tools remain restricted.

What account information is stored?

SWC stores the email, name and identity identifier supplied during sign-in, plus your role, permissions and access history, to operate your membership. SWC does not receive your ChatGPT password.

Can I upgrade to Academy later?

Yes. After verified Academy payment, lifetime access activates and the terminal cancels your previous Pro or Custom subscription to stop future renewals. Previous monthly payments are not refunded.

What can I explore for free?

See all Dashboard feature boxes and use the Free tools. Selecting a feature outside your package opens an upgrade prompt; paid content stays restricted.
